The work of Cranfield University is delivered primarily through four Schools that work across the themes in which we specialise. Specifically, relevant to SMART GROUND, the School of Energy, Environment and Agrifood has worked with clients in the waste and resource management industry for over 30 years establishing good relationships with many groups with inputs to the industry. The School has a growing area of research surrounding waste and resource management and the circular economy. Our research is practical, business and policy-focused, and delivered with an intent of impact for our clients and research partners.
Role in the project: Cranfield University is responsible for WP4 – Implementing training and Networking and contributing to WP1 Characterisation and modelling of potential sites and WP5 dissemination and exploitation.
